A custom storefront for my stream merch, powered by Fourthwall.
Overview
I wanted my stream merch to have its own proper storefront rather than sending people straight to a standard Fourthwall shop. The result is a custom site that matches the rest of the iamandy branding while Fourthwall still handles the products, checkout and fulfilment behind the scenes.
The challenge
The main challenge was keeping the storefront completely custom without losing the convenience of Fourthwall. Products, variants and availability needed to stay up to date without me manually maintaining the same information in two places, and the site still needed to work as a lightweight static build.
The solution
I built the storefront with Astro, CSS and JavaScript, using Fourthwall's Storefront API to load the live product data into my own frontend. This gave me control over the design and shopping experience while keeping Fourthwall responsible for the parts it already does well, including checkout and fulfilment.
